“ I first came to Alison in 2020, it was an extremely lonely year for me. I was in a toxic relationship, and we were living separately. He came to visit me and as usual, I planned to do all the things that I knew he enjoyed. When he left I was so sad, however, it wasn't because I missed him.

I have been working with Alison for 3 years and have seen a profound shift in my energy and consequently every area of my life in that time. Alison asks her clients to put in the work, and puts in tremendous amount of work herself to understand each client's story, needs, goals, and dreams. It was imperative that I write this. Not sure you remember me. I spent almost two years with you doing the work and then my husband was arrested for drug trafficking and took my life into a tail spin. I haven't spoken with you really since then, I think I missed an appointment, in which I apologize. But the main reason I am emailing you is to say, THANK YOU!!! My life has been forever changed. The clarity I have in my life is owed to you. I have spent many random times in the past two years sending you gracious love, kindness, and thank yous. The amount of love that I show for myself is owed to your work. Making myself a priority. I am even eating healthier. I have lost twenty pounds!I am almost out of my marriage. It's taken way too long but I am excited for the future! I just recently came out of a really dark place of feeling very alone and I recently realized that I actually am not alone! LOL! Toxic relationships no longer serve a purpose in my life and I am building foundations of new relationships and rehashing others. It has been a eye opening stage in my life. Alison, I’m a bit hopeful for my future after one (1) session with Alison, last week. Society’s ills, hate, racism, and lack of integrity wore me down to be gleeful about ending my life. I have been thrice admitted to outpatient, mental health facilities over a 3 year period. I have had two (2) LCSW therapists during this time, also. My diagnoses are Major Depression/PTSD.
Alison broke through ages of ancestral subjugation, familial abuse, social trauma and challenged my belief system when therapeutic. She treated an unhealthy attachment to my body where I have noticed a significant reduction of discomfort. Hopefully, I can work on and through my mental challenges with her in future. Be well. Chuck
